Soccer for Peace Cup 2010
June 2010 - Just as South Africa looked to capture the World’s spirits by hosting a
memorable World Cup, The Soccer for Peace Cup aimed to build off of its
remarkable first two years and put on a bigger and better event. And, as

Camp Coexistence 2010
2010 - For the 6th consecutive summer, Soccer for Peace hosted an overnight
camp In Israel for Arab and Jewish youth. This year’s installment
occurred at Nir Ha’emek, a campus not far from the northern Israeli city
of Afula and the northern Palestinian city of Jenin. Its location was
particularly noteworthy in that a group from Jenin participated, joining
a group of Arab Israelis and Jewish Israelis. (Read more)
World Cup Party
2010 - In celebration of the world’s greatest sporting event, and the United States’ valiant effort therein, Soccer for Peace hosted a World Cup viewing party on June 12th, 2010. Over 300 soccer fans joined together at the Maritime Hotel Cabanas to watch the highly anticipated U.S. vs. England match broadcast live from South Africa. While cheering on the U.S.A., guests enjoyed margaritas and beer thanks to generous donations by Jose Cuervo and Brooklyn Brewery. (Read more)
